What we collect
- Your name and email address — to enroll you, to email your sign-in code, and to put your name on your certificate.
- Your progress — which segments you watched, your checkpoint quiz answers, your notes and your course evaluation.
- When you use the site, our servers record the network (IP) address and time of each visit and each video you open. We keep these records as proof of attendance for continuing-education credit and to decide refund requests.
- A record of your purchase — which program you bought, the amount, the date and the Stripe identifiers for it.
We do not ask for clinical information, and you should not put client details into the notes or evaluation fields.
What we never see
Your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own pages; we receive only the confirmation, the amount and your email address.
Who processes it
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting the site, the database that holds your account and progress, and the service that sends your sign-in and welcome emails.
That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Cookies and local storage
Your browser stores your sign-in token and a short-lived access cookie so the videos will play, plus a copy of your progress so the course works when the connection drops. None of it is used for tracking or advertising.
How long we keep it
Your account and progress stay while you are enrolled, so you can pick the course up later and re-download your certificate. Purchase records are kept as long as our accounting obligations require. Attendance records (including the visit and video-open records above) are kept for at least three years, as continuing-education rules require.
Deletion and access
Email drdarsa@reconnectcenter.com and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and progress. Deletion ends your access to the course. Attendance records needed for continuing-education credit, and purchase records, are kept for the periods stated above.
